A philosophy I believe in with all my heart is that every person, at any workplace, has the right to work in a safe environment and be able to return to their families and homes at the end of the day. Safety is much more than just catchy slogans or bright vests and hardhats; it is a positive safety cultural mind-set. I have the ability to create, foster and improve that mind-set for your company. For a previous employer, I successfully designed and directed, from the ground up, a complete safety, health and environmental program which was adopted as a standard throughout all branches of the company. The hard work paid off with the company exceeding the requirements of the National Safety COR™ guidelines and receiving COR™ certification. My management expertise in the health, safety and environment has been illustrated through a fundamental understanding of how to direct others in achieving greater safety goals.
