Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis

The Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis dates back to the 1800’s and sits on the edge of Dorset’s coast, overlooking stunning sea views. It is renowned for being a local venue with a national reputation. Offering a broad and diverse variety of events from music, comedy, theatre, dance and family orientated productions, the venue seats 220 (in rows) with other seating options available, depending on the nature of the performance. We also deliver programmes such as ‘R&D by the Sea’ (a successful scheme which provides a platform for artists from across the world to develop and promote their work) and ‘See-Play-Do’ (programming for young people, including interactive play and pre/post performance workshops).
