Our team has two decades of unrivalled experience in the specification, design, development, manufacture and testing of innovative free-standing composite superyacht masts and Dyna-Rig systems. For the first, second and third largest private sailing superyachts in the world we built Dyna-Rig systems and nine carbon composite masts up to 100m tall.
Since Maltese Falcon in 2006, our composite masts and Dyna-Rig systems have been designed, developed and built using advanced and proven composite manufacturing processes. Each vessel has automated sailing systems for easy control, and embedded optical fibre strain sensing for real-time, long term structural health monitoring. The composite masts, Dyna-Rigs and automation systems are all project managed, tested, commissioned and sea-trialled by Magma.
