A indústria da comunicação sempre contribuiu para a cultura machista. Criou estereótipos como os da “família margarina” e da “gostosa da cerveja”. Não à toa, a maioria das mulheres não se sente representada na propaganda, apesar de formar 85% do poder de compra. Irônico, mas tem explicação: existem menos de 20% de mulheres na criação das agências. O MORE GRLS pretende mudar este cenário através de uma plataforma com foco em aumentar o número, valorização e visibilidade de mulheres criativas. O Instituto MORE GRLS não tem fins lucrativos. Todos os recursos arrecadados são utilizados para 
melhorias na plataforma, pagamento de colaboradores e divulgação da iniciativa. 
 ------ The advertising industry has always contributed to a sexist culture, creating stereotypes like the “perfect mother” and the “sexy beer girl”. It's not surprising that 65% of women don’t identify with their portrayal in traditional advertising, even though they account for 85% of all consumer purchases. Ironic, but there is an explanation: women make up for only 20% of creatives in advertising agencies in Brazil. MORE GRLS wants to change that by becoming the first platform that focuses on increasing the number, value and visibility of creative women by providing tools and support to the industry.
