MK Insights can design and facilitate assessment centres in a way that has never been done before in Australia. Operating out of our purpose built facility, designed and built specifically for observing participants in real life scenarios, our process allows the participant to fully immerse themselves in the experience and creates a more realistic assessment. Our simulations are distinguished by the absence of an observer sitting in the room with participants, which enhances the realism of the process. We have cameras and microphones in every room, feeding images and sounds back to the central observation room. Our process works to reduce and possibly even eliminate the Hawthorne effect (also referred to as the observer effect) which is a type of reactivity in which individuals improve an aspect of their behaviour in response to their awareness of being observed. All of our assessments are bespoke and created specifically to meet the client needs and to ensure all elements of the client’s culture, communication style, dress and behaviours are accurately reflected in all interactions participants have throughout the day. All the interactions are recorded to enable the participant to view their own footage, further enhancing the assessment feedback process, as the participants can actually see how they performed.
