About
MBS was founded in 1995 after years of research on the effects of tube corrugation in the field of thermal exchange, in collaboration with the most important Italian universities. This allowed the design of an internal calculation program. Based on the profiles used (depth and pitch), it allows you to select the most suitable heat exchanger for each type of application. In 2008 MBS joined the important CSF Inox Group, and moved the technical and production offices to the new and current headquarters in Godega di Sant’Urbano (TV). MBS team of experts is able to provide full technical and commercial support in the most diverse industrial sectors. Corrugation is the process of creating a corrugated internal surface inside smooth tubes, which allows for greater turbulence of the flow, improving the efficiency of the heat exchange. The sizing of the MBS heat exchanger is carried out through a sophisticated calculation software, constantly improved and updated thanks to the ten-year collaboration with the University of Parma (Department of Technical Physics). The advantages of this technology entail: - reduction of the required areas - reduction of contact times and of product permanence inside the tube - reduced washing times thanks to greater action - mechanical action generated by turbulence - vertical or horizontal installation - ability to work with high pressures and temperatures - minimal maintenance costs thanks to the gasket-free design - easy assembly and modularity of the exchanger. The fields of application are food & beverage, pharma, industrial. The latest Hercules project is particularly suitable for high viscosity products with suspended particulates and a tendency to adhere to the exchange surfaces, transforming the process from "batch" to "continuous". The products on which to use the scraped surface are: jams, ketchup, mayonnaise, ice cream, soups, chocolate, honey, oils, fats, baby foods, gelatines, dairy etc.
