The Max-Born Institute for Nonlinear Optics and Short Pulse Spectroscopy is a leading organisation for fundamental research in physics, laser science and photonics. Our world-class laboratories and state-of-the-art computing facilities are located in the vibrant city of Berlin, Germany.
Our creative scientists develop activities in atomic, molecular, solid state and optical physics and optical engineering in four research areas - Attosecond Physics, Transient Electronic Structure and Nanoscience, Precision Physics and Theory. In our international, diverse and committed environment, we train the next generation of scientists and engineers. We welcome post-doctoral researchers, PhD students, masters and undergraduate students, interns and trainees from all over the world.
