M de Wet Promotions cc was established in May 1991, with Christo and Miems de Wet as the only staff members at the time. Our first product assortment included a small range of cosmetics, a selection of photo frames and a very nice range of pop-up (die-cut) greeting cards. From these humble beginnings and with lots of enthusiasm and commitment, the corporation showed sound growth each year, which led to M de Wet Promotions becoming an important wholesaler of quality products to the greeting card and gift related industry throughout South Africa and indeed also beyond our borders. Today we have a staff complement of 30+, including our sales agents. Tiaan and Louise, son and daughter of Christo and Miems joined the business on a full time basis, after completion of their school careers. We are indeed a proud family business and we see each and every staff member as being part of "the Family". We operate from our fully owned 1200 square metre premises in Robertsham, located in the south of Johannesburg. These premises comprise of offices, warehouse facilities and a impressive showroom. Our entire administration, as well as our national and international distribution operates from these premises. As Management, we are incredibly proud of our dedicated sales and office staff, who always give beyond their best in order to meet the needs of our customers. Over the years we have expanded our product ranges substantially and we stock a wide range of gifting products suitable for weddings, new babies, male/female/kiddies birthdays and other general gifting products. Our extensive greeting card ranges in all popular captions in English and Afrikaans are firm favourites amongst our customers. We also offer gift bags in various sizes, gift wrap in sheets and rolls, special event gifts such as Christmas, Valentines and many more exciting products.
