SEA1000 Future Submarine Program - DCNS Australia Bid Strategy Team (successful bidder)
On 26 April 2016, the Australian Prime Minister the Hon. Malcolm Turnbull MP announced France’s DCNS as the international partner to design and build Australia’s next generation of submarines (SEA1000). The 12 submarines will be built in Adelaide, South Australia and will replace the fleet of Collins Class vessels currently used by the Royal Australian Navy. Valued at A$50 billion, the SEA1000 Program is the largest government contract in Australia’s history and the largest defence export contract in the world at the moment. Emily and Zack advised DCNS on its government relations and stakeholder engagement strategy for federal and state governments and local industry.
