Lucia Simeoni Design Studio

Lucia Simeoni is a designer from Bastia, Corsica. She graduated from L’Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués “LISAA” Paris in 2012. During summer 2011, she worked alongside with Aldo Cibic as an intern in Vicenza (Italy), such an experience confirmed her inclination for furniture design. In 2014, she started designing her own range of objects with the idea of manufacturing them with Corsican craftsmen. In 2015, she worked as a Fab Manager at the University of Corsica, for the opening of the first FabLab in Corsica. She participated in the 2016 FabAcademy session, where she acquired key skills in digital manufacturing. She is now playing with both digital and traditional design perspectives, two different ways of making ideas become reality.
