VisitEngland 2022 national gold 'Taste of England' Award winning restaurant,
Through Executive Head Chef Dave J Critchley, Lu Ban brings Chinese dishes and dining experiences inspired by the authentic flavours and culture of Tianjin to Liverpool.
Set in Baltic Triangle area of the city, Lu Ban is located at Cains Brewery village.
The restaurant interior is a fusion of the building's rich industrial heritage together with Chinese pieces and artwork, proudly displaying the Liverpool of old, as much as the Chinese details and cherry blossom that awaits your arrival.
With a stylish, fully air-conditioned restaurant seating up to 75 guests, a stunning six-metre slate bar, three unique and luxurious private dining rooms as well as the only chef's table in Liverpool, there is much to experience at Lu Ban.
Open from Thursday to Sunday each week for guests can enjoy a variety of menus and private dining experiences, although additional midweek opening for exclusive hire is possible.
Lu Ban isn't what you'd expect of a typical Chinese restaurant. Executive Head Chef Director, Dave Critchley, leads a team to deliver beautifully presented dishes influenced by the region of Tianjin in northern China. Set to challenge the perceptions of westernised Chinese food, dishes, ingredients and cooking styles are as true as possible to what you might find in Tianjin itself.
The service, delivered by an attentive front of house team, is professional and friendly, encouraging guests to relax and enjoy; where seasoned visitors and newcomers feel they are part of a special Lu Ban experience.
