Loubnaniyoun is a non-profit organization that aims to establish value for humanity by implementing improvements at various levels, mainly education, culture, environment and health. The NGO seeks to ameliorate the living conditions for Lebanese community through the activities it carries out, as an attempt to compensate the lack of attention by the public sector translated by the following projects:
- Education
Loubnaniyoun has helped in providing scholarships for students in different Lebanese regions for five consecutive years as follows:
2013 / 2014: 288 scholarships
2014 / 2015: 178 scholarships
2015 / 2016: 196 scholarships
2016 / 2017: 198 scholarships
2017 / 2018: 266 scholarships
2018/ 2019: 129 scholarships
The organization believes in the necessity and importance of education and intends to pursue this project in the future, in order to help as many students as possible to obtain a decent level of education. This in turn would bring development to our country.
- Politics - The Role of Women in Politics
Loubnaniyoun established a national document and consensus that promotes the participation of women in politics, signed by nine principal Lebanese parties. Several conferences and forums were carried out to discuss and tackle the issue, and efforts were concluded with the parties signing the document.
- Health - e-Governance
In 2017, Loubaniyoun signed a project with the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon (MoPH) on a project titled “Citizens’ Rights” which was funded by the U.S. Embassy in Beirut. The project was completed in September 2018 and consists of an update to the current ministry website (http://moph.gov.lb/services), along with the development of a user-friendly mobile application, available on both Android and IOS called “e-Health Lebanon” and connected directly to the MoPH website whereby citizens are given electronic access to fill, submit and track over a 100 medical forms frequently used and submitted periodically to the ministry.
