Lorain County Children Services

Lorain County Children Services is a county-administered public child protection agency. We employ Masters level social workers to provide intervention, assessment and casework services to children who are or at risk of abuse and neglect. Our goals are safety, Permanence, and Long Term Well-Being for each child. We have a strong and growing network of local Foster Caregivers who care for children when their own parents or relatives cannot. We employ the most current best practices within a public agency context.
