Livingstone Shire Council

Livingstone Shire Council is one of the largest and most diverse employers on the Capricorn Coast; where more than 400 staff strive to provide the utmost is service provision to the entire community. Our Shire extends from Keppel Sands in the South to Stanage in the north, with the major centres including the coastal towns of Yeppoon and Emu Park. The smaller villages across Livingstone include Byfield, Farnborough, Cawarral, The Caves, Marlborough and Ogmore. Driven by a shared community vision and long-term financial planning, we are committed to driving economic growth, attracting further investment and developing sustainable industry; and with more than 1,000 new residents making a permanent sea change to the Capricorn Coast every year, it’s a responsibility we don’t take lightly.
