Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust is the major provider of community healthcare and public health services in Liverpool and neighbouring areas, with a strong history of providing valued and innovative care.
We have a team of around 3200 staff - 80 percent of whom are practising health professionals including Nurses, Community Matrons, Health Visitors, GPs, Dentists, Dieticians, Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists.
We deliver community health services to people in their own homes, in over 100 health centres and clinics, 5 Walk-in Centres, the Kent Lodge intermediate care centre and GP practices across the city region.
Our services enable people to be cared for in their own community and remain as independent as possible, rather than having to go to hospital. Many of these services are delivered out-of-hours, with 24 hour, 7 day a week access.
