General information
We are a very straightforward company who specialise in supplying and maintaining machinery for four key markets; Agriculture, Groundcare, Construction and Arboriculture.
Established in 1947, we remain a wholly owned family business, and this has certainly been a factor in attracting and retaining the very best sales, parts and service staff in the industry. It’s their knowledge and expertise that allow us to make the leap from being ‘just another machinery dealer’ into one of the most focused, customer friendly, and exciting Dealerships in the South of England.
Our Locations
We’re not looking to conquer the world, we just believe that you want good, local support and that requires depots in key locations. We believe that no-one offers you better coverage across Central Southern England, so it doesn’t matter if you want a wheel nut in Northampton, an O ring in Oxfordshire or a windscreen in Warwickshire, we are here to make sure your machines keep working as hard as you do.
Agricultural Division
Agriculture is in our blood - we eat, sleep and breathe it! It forms the bedrock of our business and we genuinely believe that no-one cares more about getting it right than we do.
We have been there through the good times and the bad, and throughout this, our staff have shown an enormous commitment to the industry. They understand and respect the pressures of modern day farming, and despite the long hours and sometimes intense pressure, they know that no other business can boast the wonderful characters, the magnificent history and the exciting future that Agriculture can.
Groundcare Division
Well, you know the old saying...the grass is always greener...well at Lister Wilder it really is!
Since the early 1990’s we have been growing faster than bamboo to develop the best possible line up of groundcare machinery, and now with some world class products and with strategically placed branches, no one offers better service across Central, Southern England.
We appreciate that big isn’t always best, but it should provide a certain amount of reassurance that you are dealing with the UK’s largest supplier of Kubota machinery. Couple to this, that we are a family owned business with some very traditional values regarding good old fashioned customer service, then we should be able to make your next machinery purchase a very enjoyable experience!
Arboricultural Division
Established just over 10 years ago, our Arboricultural and Forestry division has steadily grown to become a very specialised and important part of our business. We recognise the unique demands that you make on your machinery and how downtime costs you money, that’s why we supply and support the best franchises in the industry.
With Timberwolf you’ll find a wide choice of tough hydraulic chippers with capacities from 125mm (5”) right up to 300mm (12”) in tracked, road tow and PTO variants, together with equally tough, but smaller, gravity feed models, available as hand-portable, road-tow and PTO to run from the back of a compact tractor.
Stihl and Husqvarna are undisputed kings of the chainsaw and we are able to offer some incredible savings on new machines, plus we have the knowledge and expertise to keep your older machines in first class working order.
Construction Division
In a nutshell we have the worlds largest, not to mention best selling, range of mini excavators, made by those incredible people at Kubota. Kubota tracked mini excavators are universally known and respected for their reliability, durability and appetite for hard work, designed and built to produce cost-effective results time after time.
Add to this the world renowned Thwaites range of dumpers, Merlo and CAT handlers that take material handling to new heights, and a range of niche products from Honda, Stihl, Husqvarna and Arrow. You can soon see that if the Agricultural business provides the foundations, the construction division is building a very strong reputation of its own.
