Lisa Primerano started her own practice in 2009 after practicing nine years with prominent Buffalo‐area law firms in corporate law and commercial litigation. After litigating patent, copyright and trademark disputes at a litigation boutique firm, she moved to a corporate group in a business boutique firm. There, she re‐focused her practice to work with businesses to protect, license, and enforce their intellectual property rights.
Lisa concentrates her practice in the areas of business and corporate law, with an emphasis on intellectual property. She counsels clients and other attorneys on creating value from intellectual property by strategically protecting, enforcing and licensing trademarks, copyrights, patents, and other intellectual property rights.
Lisa also counsels businesses on general matters such as formation, operation, dissolution and governance. Her practice ranges from advising on transactional matters, such as contract drafting, to resolving and/or litigating business disputes.
Like her clients, Lisa focuses on the bottom line - what can be done to maximize results with minimal investment? Lisa's experience with both transactions and litigation provides her with a unique perspective, allowing her to counsel businesses to maximize value while limiting the risk of litigation.
Lisa is also actively engaged in researching ways new technologies can drive innovation in the practice of law and the delivery of legal services.
