Operating in over 17 countries with more than 65,000 employees, we have taken part in Turkey’s current mega-projects including İstanbul Grand Airport; which will be the world’s largest airport to support up 200 million passengers and Çanakkale Bridge which will be the world’s longest span suspension bridge.
Limak was awarded the contract for Kuwait International Airport New Passenger Terminal II in 2016.
Limak began contributing towards Kuwait’s development plan in 2014 with the Infectious Diseases Hospital Project. Next is West Abdullah Al-Mubarak’s Infrastructure Works, which Limak completed two-months ahead of schedule. Then most notably Limak’s contract for Kuwait International Airport, which is to be recognized as one of the most iconic airports in the world. As of last month, Limak signed the fourth contract in the country for South Abdullah Al-Mubarak’s Infrastructure Works.
Through KDIPA, Limak was the first construction company to be set-up as a local company in Kuwait, participating and contributing to Kuwait’s vision, as Limak Insaat Kuwait S.P.C. seeking opportunities to invest and contribute to the society and its development.
Kuwait is a long-term and permanent home for Limak and the target is not only to invest to Kuwait, but to use this opportunity as a base for the Region which Limak can operate on third countries.
