Welcome to Lil' Friends!
We provide respite care for families and therapies for children with identified physical and developmental disabilities ranging from 3-18 years old.
Lil' Friends LLC was formed by Shelly Cox and Ange Shores, two friends who felt a need in their community was not being met by any other organization.
Shelly, an OTR with years of experience in pediatrics, and Ange, a CNA and mom of a child with diverse needs, saw and experienced a need for additional support for families and decided to find a way to fill the need.
Parents of kids with developmental disabilities work hard 24/7 and need a break! They need programs that will benefit their amazing kids and at the same time give them the opportunity to take time for themselves to recharge. Families need a place where kids can have fun, socialize, and work toward therapy goals all while being safely cared for by people that are specially trained to their individual needs. Here at Lil' Friends, we recognize the importance of caring for and supporting both children and caretakers, and are here to provide exactly that.
We are also proud and honored to collaborate with the following organizations in the surrounding area in order to better serve our families and children: Bal Swan Children's Center, Friends of Broomfield, North Metro CCB and Regis University
We serve the following counties: Adams, Boulder, Broomfield and Erie
Community-Centered Boards: Imagine!, North Metro and Envision
