Louis Clair founded Light Cibles in 1983 as the first independent lighting engineering and design consultancy in France. His son, Emmanuel Clair, lighting designer and architect, leads its offices in Paris, Singapore, Tianjin and Kuala Lumpur.
Our multinational team with diverse specialisation speaks over 10 languages and is always in search of the most beautiful solutions, including unusual techniques and creative use of technologies. We have gained award-winning expertise in the conception and realisation of innovative lighting design with notable projects such Mont Saint-Michel, Notre-Dame cathedral, La Grande Arche de la Défense and Les Halles in France; Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, Singapore Sports Hub and The Fullerton Heritage development in Singapore; Beirut Central District in Lebanon; and lighting master plans around the world.
Light Cibles projects can be seen in Canada, China, England, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Monaco, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, South Korea, Switzerland, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam, and have won awards including IALD International Lighting Design Award in 2012, IES Illumination Award in 2012; and the BCA Construction Excellence Awards in 2013 and 2014.
