Lifelines is a large, multi-generational, population-based cohort study that includes over 167,000 participants from the general population of the northern region of the Netherlands. Three generations of participants were included between 2006 and 2013. We will follow these people over the course of 30 years.
Longitudinal data is available from the first two waves. The third wave will start end of 2019. Researchers worldwide can apply for data or biological samples collected in the Lifelines study to answer a wide range of relevant research questions.
