Lifeline WA is a not-for-profit organisation that keeps people safe from suicide, supports people in crisis and keeps people emotionally well. This is done through a variety of crisis support and suicide prevention services.
Lifeline WA's mission is to prevent suicide, support people in crisis and reduce the stigmas, which can be a barrier to people seeking help.
Somewhere in Australia, there is a new call to Lifeline every 30 seconds. People contact Lifeline’s crisis support services about:
•Suicidal thoughts or attempts
•Personal crisis
•Anxiety
•Depression
•Loneliness
•Abuse and trauma
•Stresses from work, family or society
•Self-help information for friends and family
Lifeline WA believes that almost all suicides are preventable and that by connecting vulnerable people with crisis support, these people can be kept safe.
