The Liberal Party of Australia’s broad membership base reflects Australia and Australian values. The Liberal Party was formed not around unions or interest groups, but around individuals. Australian values of individual dignity, liberty, free enterprise and family are reflected in the core values of the Liberal Party.
The Victorian Division of the Liberal Party has played an important role in leading the progress of the Liberal Party over more than six decades. Influential Prime Ministers, Premiers and Ministers – both Federal and State – have helped to establish the Victorian Division as an integral part of the Liberal Party’s development.
