The Lebanese Oncology Interest Group (LOIG) is an official Non-Profit Non-Governmental Organization founded in 2021 and run by Lebanese Medical Students who share a common interest in the various Fields of Oncology.
The Goals of the LOIG are to:
- Foster interest of Lebanese Medical Students in the different fields of oncology including medical, surgical, pediatric, radiation and gynecologic oncology.
- Communicate the latest advances in oncology research to medical students.
- Increase public awareness regarding malignant diseases and prevention practices.
- Help provide financial coverage for cancer screening and treatment.
