Lawstop is a specialist firm of solicitors based in Brighton. We take on all cases including challenging negative housing decisions, suitable accommodation, possession, eviction, and disrepair. Our clients include individuals with complex mental and physical health needs, homelessness, vulnerabilities, SEND needs, and the elderly. We also advocate for individuals under community care, requesting assessments under the Care Act and Children's Act, advising on level of support and care for mental health and substance abuse issues, and working with mental capacity issues, best interest and Court of Protection. We are inclusive and aim to work with all members of society. We are experts in private work and we hold legal aid contracts in our expertise areas, this means that if you are eligible for legal aid we could provide our advice and representation for free or reduced fee.
