Laneway Learning is the name for a ragtag series of evening classes that first started in Melbourne in 2012 and now runs in other cities around Australia and overseas.
Our classes are probably unlike any others you have been to. They are super cheap (generally $14), super informal and are taught by ordinary people from the local community; florists teach about flowers, scientists about science and bookworms about books. Come to a Laneway Learning class and you might go away with enough knitting know-how to make your first scarf, an art-historian's eye for a painting, or a killer recipe for chutney.
If you'd like to teach with us, read our FAQ's for teachers doc first: http://bit.ly/1AbOXqc. Then email the relevant chapter, or fill out the form on the 'Want to teach' tab on the relevant chapter's website.
Meanwhile, we're always looking to expand our chapters - if you're interested in starting a local chapter where you live, please email hq@lanewaylearning.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
