Lancashire Women is a leading charity for women and girls in Lancashire with over 8000 women accessing their services over the past year and 130 active volunteers supporting delivery of their services. Their vision is where all women and girls in Lancashire are valued and treated as equals. Lancashire Women empower women and girls to be able to transform their lives by bringing them together to: find their voice, share experiences and understanding, develop their knowledge and skills and challenge stereotypes and misconceptions about them…so that they can have choices in becoming the individuals they want to be.
We have a network of centres based in Accrington (Head Office), Burnley, Blackburn & Blackpool, we also work in outreach venues. We offer a safe, female only space. Whatever your needs, women can drop in to their local centres any time between the weekday hours of 10am and 3pm. (Please note: For men accessing our mental health services we offer specific appointments off site or out of our core hours.) Our main programmes are: Mental Health & Wellbeing, Employment & Skills Support, Money, Debt & Benefit Advice and Justice & Safety, women can access any service for free by dropping in to our centres, calling our centre on 0300 330 1354 or emailing us on TalkToUs@lancashirewomen.org For more information please head over to our website www.lancashirewomen.org
