Lake House is a vibrant community arts centre and gallery in a heritage building setting and is administered by a charitable trust.
The buildings are sited on land leased from Auckland Council and situated on Barry's Point Reserve on Fred Thomas Drive, Takapuna.
The Centre comprises three relocated and renovated historic buildings namely Lake House and two of the Fort Cautley Army Barracks from Narrowneck.
From within these two buildings, a range of art activities and services are on offer to the public 7 days a week. Exhibitions change every four weeks in the 2 main gallery spaces.
Lake House artists also exhibit at the Spencer on Byron Hotel.
There is a comprehensive arts education programme for adults and children in line with the four school terms as well as weekend workshops and school holiday classes.
Lake House is an ideal venue to hold small seminars, corporate team-building days, book or product launches and small functions.
With close proximity to Auckland City and the Akoranga Bus station, plenty of parking and an onsite cafe, this is the venue to book.
