Lakas is a mentorship program that seeks to support Filipino-American youth in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Orange County.
To connect generations and empower our community, we pair high school students with a local college student mentor. Over the course of seven months, we’ll hold monthly pillar sessions where students will develop leadership skills, self-awareness, and college preparedness while learning about Filipino-American culture and history.
