Laeso Fish

Based in the Scottish fishing village Peterhead, Laeso Fish offers a wide range of Norway lobsters packed and processed with a modern freezing plant. Peterhead was founded in the 16th century by Scottish fishermen, and the location at Scotland's easternmost point - and thus close to important fishing spots - was crucial when Læsø Fiskeindustri in 1998 decided to establish a department abroad. The need had then arisen for several years with large and increasing European demand for Norway lobster. Including demand for slightly smaller Norway lobsters, which, unlike Scandinavia, has a tradition of landing in the UK. Since 1998, Laeso Fish in Scotland has developed into an important part of the overall business at Læsø Fiskeindustri. Production in Scotland is designed so that large quantities of Norway lobster can be offered to the retail market from here. For all products, they live up to Læsø Fiskeindustri's high standard of quality control.
