Laboratoria is a non-profit organization that seeks to encourage women in Latin America to develop to their full potential in the tech industry. We do this by creating a wide array of programs designed to open transformative opportunities for our students, which allows them to find their place within the industry. We are the main destination for female tech talent in LATAM, connecting different stakeholders so they may contribute in closing the gender gap and in this way achieve a more diverse, incluse and competitive economy. More women working in tech means more women building the future of our region.
With over 10 years in the industry and a wide presence in over 11 countries in Latin America, our organization has impacted more than 3,800 women through our bootcamps, teaching technical and life skills, as well as our events and Código M workshops, which have amassed over 5,000 attendees, and Laboratoria+, our female leadership community, which now consists of more than 600 women. Through our work, we seek to revert the inequalities that women face when searching for high-quality jobs in Latin America's digital economy, while also helping all kinds of organizations -from large-scale enterprises to technology startups and software consultancies- to find the unique female talent they need, increasing the number of women in their teams.
