La Unidad Latina Foundation

The La Unidad Latina Foundation was established in 1999 to serve as an independent, non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to funding educational achievement and civic empowerment in the Latino community. Our Mission is to financially support scholars with demonstrated academic excellence and inspired civic action in the Latino community. Through this we hope to accomplish our vision to build an influential community of socially-conscious college graduates dedicated to Latino achievement and empowerment. We award scholarships ranging from $500 to $1000 to scholars pursuing academic excellence in higher education. We also fund community programs and student organizations dedicated to the civic empowerment in the Latino community. Since 2000, 23 organizations have received funding from LUL Foundation for leadership development conferences, cultural awareness events, mentoring programs, and voter registration campaign.
