La Plana's public health Department offers Primary health care in 33 municipalities through a University Hospital, 14 Health Centers, 29 Auxiliary Clinics and three Summer Clinics. La Plana's University Hospital is the reference hospital for its entire area of influence and is located in the city of Vila-real.
