Lums Arts Society

The LUMS Arts Society seeks to showcase the artists of LUMS and their many different art forms. Since its formation, it has striven for the promotion as well as for the inculcation of artistic values in the students. The Arts Society has served to provide a platform to students who possess the flair as well as the passion for Arts. It has given students an opportunity to polish their aesthetic ingenuity and has creatively shaped their expressions. The Arts Society specializes in not only arranging events for the students to display their finesse, but also in orchestrating different workshops for those students who aspire to refine their aesthetic talents. These workshops encompass different genres: sketching, jewelry making, origami etc. The society further ensures that all the different materials, which are often necessitated (with regards to art), are always available to the students. The Arts Society also offers its members the chance to visit art exhibitions too, so that they may gain inspiration from them, meet the artists whose work is being displayed, and even pick up some innovative techniques.
