Lshift

LShift is a hi-tech software development company. It is small but, we like to think, close to perfectly formed. Our company is home to some of the best developers in the UK - not only in our opinion, but in the opinion of a number of international blue chip companies who use our development and research skills. LShift was formed in 2000 by a group of senior developers tired of the way they were expected to work. We asked what our new company would have to be like for them to want to jump ship and join us in forming it. We had several months of brainstorming to make it somewhere the best people would want to work. Now some years on we are probably best known in the software industry as the original authors of RabbitMQ and indeed we are still involved in consulting around Rabbit and running SaaS versions of it, but also as the best place for software developers to work in London, at least so we are told...
