Panciteria Lido was born in the heart of Chinatown, Binondo. Started by Chef Lido in 1936, Panciteria Lido catered to Chinese favorites like noodles and wanton, with a subtle hint of that sweet and salty Filipino flavor. Later, Chef Lido started experimenting with Chinese pork roast recipe, cooking it under “pugon oven”, thus the birth of the Pugon Roasted Asado.
