A prestigious institution in Thailand since 1957, the French International School of Bangkok (LFIB) is fully accredited by both the Thai and French national education ministers. It offers a curriculum compliant with the official guidelines, instructions and schedule of the French education system.
The French School initially started off as an embassy school in 1957 but was upgraded to the status of French International School of Bangkok (LFIB) in 2003, located at 498 Soi Ramkhamhaeng 39 (Thep Leela 1). The School welcomes students from the age of 3 to 18.
The School is run under a convention overseen by the AEFE and the French Foundation for Education.
The board of management is elected from the student parents.
The School is certified as an examination centre for the baccalaureate as well as for the brevet des colleges, and for the Cambridge ESOL from KET to CPE.
The LFIB welcomes about 1040 students from kindergarten to the baccalaureate. The entire curriculum is directly managed.
The LFIB is also member of ISAT (International Schools Association of Thailand).
