LDN (Learning Disability Network) London (formally the Westminster Society) is a charity which supports adults and children with learning disabilities, and their families throughout London.
We aim to provide quality services and create new opportunites for people with learning disabilities of all ages, throughout their lives.
We believe that people with learning disabilities have the right to:
- Inclusion - use mainstream services and be involved in the community.
- Choice - receive information and support, to make decisions and take risks.
- Consultation - tell us what they think and what they want. This will guide what we do.
- Respect - enjoy private time, confidentiality and to be treated as an individual.
- Achievement - gain personal satisfaction through social, learning and work opportunities.
- Quality - receive person centered services supported by effective networks.
