Established in 1997, the Korean Student Union (KSU) is the student organization at the University of Washington (UW) that acts as the second home in the United States for many Korean international students at UW through hosting a variety of networking, academic, and cultural events.
KSU, through its several events, raises awareness of Korean culture in Seattle. Especially, the Overnight hosted by KSU UW is driven by the purpose of promoting Korean culture to the Seattle locals and the students at the University of Washington. It also unites the Korean population living in the Puget Sound area in celebrating the talented Korean individuals that are living among us in our local community.
Divided into six teams--Executive Board (President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer), Public Relations, Marketing, Design, Media & Journalism, and Event Coordinators--in order to create and craft the most successful events while delivering our aids to the students in need of help the most effectively.
