Kirkstall is steeped in a rich history of brewing, from the local Cistercian monks who began brewing at the abbey in the 12th century to the original Kirkstall Brewery (1833-1982). In 2011, we resurrected the Kirkstall name and got to work brewing a range of cask and keg ales, always with quality and innovation at its core. We are proud to uphold the highest brewing standards. We currently boast several pubs, including our brewery taproom, serving our beers from source, whether traditional or contemporary, since January 2020.
