King Salman Royal Nature Reserve was established in 2018, as a result of a Royal Decree to create the Council of Royal Reserves that will to be headed by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. King Salman Royal Nature Reserve is considered a large area of land in the North of the Kingdom, which 130 700 square kilometers stretching towards the border of north. It incorporates into its comprises three existing natural reserves: (Harrat Al Harra Conservation, Al Tubaiq Natural Reserve, Al Khanfah wildlife Sanctuary).
