Kettle Collective is a UK based, multi award winning, founded in 2012 by Tony Kettle and Colin Bone. Kettle Collective has already established itself as a leading, multi-award winning International practice. Tony and Colin set out to create a unique design studio, with offices in Edinburgh and Dubai, committed to high performance and energy efficient design on an International scale.
The ethos of Kettle Collective is true collaboration, hence ‘Collective’, collaboration with other designers, engineers, cost consultants and specialists to individually tailor a bespoke design team for each project. During this collaborative process the aim is to create vibrant and sustainable projects with the belief that the space we live in directly influences the quality of our lives.
The design collective works on an exchange of thoughts and ideas, a cross fertilisation of cultures and experience with the common goal of finding a unique solution. Once defined, the whole team supports the delivery of that idea through every stage of the design and construction process using the latest technologies and BIM software.
Kettle Collective has won a number of awards including the Best Future Tourism and Leisure Building Middle East in 2014, The Most Sustainable Building Middle East 2014 and 2016, The Best Future Residential Building Middle East 2015, the Architecture Prize from the Royal Scottish Academy and the SEPA One Planet Award at the Scottish Business Awards 2016.
On 21st April 2016, on The Queen’s 90th Birthday, Kettle Collective were awarded Britain's most coveted business award from Her Majesty the Queen, The Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade and again in 2021, the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development.
