Kentucky Association for Economic Development
Advocate. Educate. Connect.
KAED is the state’s premier organization dedicated to promoting and facilitating economic development in the Commonwealth.
The purpose of the Kentucky Association for Economic Development (KAED) is to educate, advocate and connect our association members. Our membership covers all parts and aspects of the industry in Kentucky, from rural to urban areas. This allows us to provide a broad array of resources and expertise in the field of economic development.
We are an active presence at our state’s capital in Frankfort. Our staff and Public Policy Committee work year round with legislators and other business organizations to develop sound economic development policy. We provide our members with timely and pertinent legislative updates so that they are informed on how the actions in Frankfort will impact their communities.
The KAED staff, board members and committee members/volunteers of KAED are dedicated to providing leadership and a vision to advance economic development professionals and economic development.
