Kent Shared Lives offers eligible individuals over the age of 16, long term, short breaks and day support placements in family type settings from the homes of our approved carers. This includes individuals with learning & physical disabilities, autism & Asperger's, mental health, sensory impairment, older people and people living with dementia.
It is a little similar to fostering but is for eligible individuals with a disability.
Kent Shared Lives is an expanding service and is recruiting new carers, who can open their homes to offer this personalised service and dramatically change the lives of individuals across Kent.
