Ever since my childhood I was interested in photography.
At the age of 15 I started studying at the Photo academy in The Netherlands.
In 1997 I started KTF Fotografie, now changed in www.karstuinder.com
KTF was specialized in wedding photography. In that category we received several national and international awards.
Since 2015 I focus more on documentary and contemporary art photography.
I get inspired when I travel and connect with the local community.
Telling stories to capture social and political events with the purpose of informing the public is something I feel is important.
Now in the corona crisis I work for the GGD corona source and contact investigation for SOS International.
In 2021 I will move to Bangkok in Thailand and will start there the Photohostel, a hostel with photography theme and the Bangkok Photography center.
