Karit looked across the roof tops of Australasia and saw the burgeoning number of solar panels collecting sunlight and turning it into energy to power companies and households. With the arrival of energy storage, Karit saw an opportunity to create a new energy management platform that would enable large numbers of structures to be brought together to create a Virtual Power Plant. Spreading the benefit of the captured sunlight well beyond a single building. Karit's Virtual Power Plant (VPP) manages the energy flows of multiple dispersed renewable energy assets to deliver greater grid independence and increase value. The platform leverages the power of the IoT to enable proactive management of these assets and their aggregated interaction with the grid and energy markets.
