Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University

Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University is one of new seventeen universities which were established in accordance with the law numbered 5662. However university’s history dates back Vocational School which was established as a part of Selcuk University by the verdiction of the council of higher education dated 08.03.1987. Ermenek Vocational School was established as a result of the meeting of The Council of Higher Education dated 21.03.1991 and Karaman Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences was established in accordence with the law numbered 3837, published in official journal dated 11.07.1992 numbered 21281.
