Kamala Flix Pvt. Ltd. Kamala Flux Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1998 in Calcutta (Kolkata), India and was promoted by two Non Resident Indian technocrats, a Metallurgist and a Chemist. The promoters have advanced degrees in Metallurgy and Chemistry from the USA and a combined experience of over 35 years in the USA in manufacturing and developing brazing fluxes and consumables. The key promoter of the Company, Mr. D. Bose, graduated in Metallurgical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Durgapur, India and immigrated to the USA for higher studies. He received Master of Science Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey and started working. He worked in the USA for over 22 years in reputed multinational companies like Honeywell Corporation and Handy and Harman. The latter company is a global leader and pioneer in brazing industry. Mr. Bose holds 19 U.S. Patents and published 8 articles in metal joining and amorphous metal technology. He has presented papers in various conferences in the USA and in Europe. He relocated to India in 1997 and founded Kamala Flux Pvt. Ltd. The company has a modern manufacturing facility in a Govt. Industrial Estate in Calcutta and employs state-of-the-art formulations and processing techniques in manufacturing these products. These products are made to the highest quality standards to assure consistently outstanding performance. In the year 2003, Kamala Flux has tied up with S. K. Brazing Company of South Korea, who is involved in manufacturing automatic brazing equipment and other brazing consumables. This company is a world leader in this field and has a large Research and Development Division. They are constantly providing technical support to Kamala Flux about the latest technological developments in brazing and metal joining areas.
