At KaapKoffie, we deeply commit to sustainable coffee production. This commitment inspired us to create the cleanest coffee on the planet. From growing our beans to pouring the coffee into a cup, we wanted to ensure that all our practices align with environmental and humanitarian principles.
To create the cleanest coffee on the planet, we realized we needed to change the entire supply chain. Instead of using traditional container ships, our beans cross the Atlantic Ocean by Kaap Kargo’s sailing ship, the Ide Min, using 100% wind power. By doing so, we contribute to reducing CO2 emissions in the maritime industry. We also prioritize the well-being of women, which is why we purchase our coffee beans directly from a cooperative of female farmers, paying a fair price. Our beans grow in the natural park Sierra Nevada in Colombia, using solely organic farming practices. Additionally, we use biodegradable packaging, allowing it to break down naturally within the ecosystem.
While dedicated to sustainable practices, we equally prioritize maintaining the quality of our coffee. As a specialty coffee, we offer one of the highest qualities available.
