In KOLIOS S.A. we specialise in the production of premium quality dairy products with an exports network covering over 50 countries across five continents.
KOLIOS’ first factory used the most advanced technology and know-how of the time. Since then we constantly invest and innovate in the production methods and technology we use. Between 1980 and 2000 we increased our output twentyfold and as a result in 2002 our new factory started operating.
We strive to keep our quality standards high and our production is strictly regulated. In 1983 we launched the first packaged cheese to the Greek market and we have been awarded renowned certificates including the ISO 22000, BRC and IFS for our quality management system. Our milk suppliers are handpicked from Northern Greece to guarantee freshness and a clear environmental conscience in our produce.
Today we are the biggest exporters of FETA CHEESE P.D.O., our specialty. It has received numerous prizes for its original taste and quality, including the internationally recognized “Product of the Year”, “International Cheese Award” and “World Cheese Award”.
Outside our Feta Cheese exports we also have a strong presence in the yogurt market, with a wide range of products. These now come under our own brand-name and numerous private labels for both the domestic and international market.
